8 Different Type of Gifts for 8 Different Type of Situation!

Actually, there are 8 Different Type of Gifts for 8 Different Type of Situation. So,please be aware so that you are bringing something right for the right person at the right time!

1. Etiquette

Don't be caught empty-handed. The way to win friends and influence people is by being sure to give the right gift at the right time.

2. Anonymous Gifts

Anonymous gift exchanges are popular around the holidays. A gift exchange can promote holiday spirit and add a little bit of excitement to an occasion. Becoming a detective and discovering a person's interests can help you get to know the person you are buying for a little bit better. An office gift exchange or an exchange amongst friends can also prove to be quite the social event. Guessing who a gift is from and watching the reaction on another person's face when they open your gift can be quite the entertainment.

3. Belated Gifts

Maybe you've been traveling or haven't been able to connect with the person who is celebrating their special occasion. It's protocol to give this person a gift at this particular time (or around this time) in their life. You might feel bad about not knowing quite what to buy them, or you might feel slightly embarrassed for not delivering the gift right on time. "Better late than never" is the phrase we like to use, and the belief is usually universal. Our friends and family members will appreciate being remembered, even if the acknowledgement comes a little later. When the effort is finally made, it's usually recognized.

4. Group Gifting

Group gifting is a great way to go when you are unsure of what to buy a particular person. This person might be a boss or a family member who is known to have particular taste. A wonderful and influential teacher might be a perfect candidate for a gift from her beloved students or colleagues. Group gifting takes the focus away from one particular person and can be a better option when it comes to budgeting for some of the 'gifters'.
It's also time-saving - as usually only one person is needed to collect money for the gift and to pick up the present.

5. Last Minute Gifting

Regardless of how much we plan, it's inevitable that a birthday, graduation, promotion, or any kind of occasion can sneak up on us. It may be hard to physically get to a store to buy a gift with your schedule. Maybe the mall is closing in an hour and you don't have a way to get there. On top of that, you might be uncertain as to what a person likes or dislikes. It's important to know your options and who you are buying for.

6. Re-gifting

This notion is for 'the resourceful'. Re-gifting is a nice way to utilize unwanted or un-needed gifts that others may value. When it may be impossible or just impolite to make a return; re-gifting is a crafty means of 'giving back' - (only to another person). Some people may justify this process when theyimagine that some gifts they've given in the past have been passed along as well. Some people are still not comfortable with the idea of re-gifting for different reasons.

7. Returning Gift

It's quite impossible to make everyone happy all the time. Just think back to those gifts you've received, when you wished someone had offered you the receipt for an exchange or a refund. Unless you are living with someone day to day and share identical taste in everything; it can be difficult to pinpoint the perfect present.
There are other circumstances that provide a gray area concerning when it's appropriate to return presents.

8. Thank You Note

A breezy acknowledgement or a sincere thank you isn't quite enough when someone has taken the time to find that perfect gift, or has helped you in some way. A hand-written thank you note will resonate and ring true with words that linger. It also shows that you have taken the time to consider this person when they realize you've picked out the card, signed it, and delivered the note to them. This is a grand opportunity to express your words of thanks and touch on the importance of your relationship. It makes the person you are saying 'thanks' to feel that their time and/or money is well invested with you.
